What You’ll Do Ohio Department of Public Safety - Ohio State Highway Patrol What You’ll Do as a LEADS Technical Security Auditor Conducts information technology security audits of criminal justice agencies inOhio in accordance with Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Criminal JusticeInformation Services (CJIS) & LEADS security policies. Gathers information & documentation necessary to execute security auditprocedures; Prepares pre-audit & audit documentation. Reviews criminal justice agency application, network & system securitycontrols for policy compliance; Reviews agency physical & logical access to &dissemination of CJI obtained from LEADS; Reviews agency agreements forpolicy compliance. Develops security audit finding & remediation documentation for areas ofnon-compliance; Educates agency personnel & administrators on security bestpractices & provides guidance on audit finding remediation. Issues, manages or revokes LEADS security sanctions for audit noncompliance. Additional Information This position is essential, meaning the duties this job performs are critical to the continued operations of the Ohio Department of Public Safety during a public safety emergency (OAC 123: 1-46-01 & DAS Directive HR-D-11). This position will be required to report for duty during any public safety emergency.
