Our client in Dallas is looking for a Procurement Operations Manager. This is a hybrid position that is direct hire.

 

We are seeking a Procurement Operations Manager to lead procurement operations, systems support, and process execution across the Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle. This role serves as the central point of coordination for operational and system-related requests, ensuring effective prioritization, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.

The Procurement Operations Manager will oversee procurement systems support, manage a procurement systems resource, and partner closely with Accounts Payable, Finance, Legal, IT, and business stakeholders to drive efficient procurement-to-pay operations. This role is ideal for a leader who combines strong procurement expertise with operational excellence and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop procurement systems support resources, setting priorities and performance expectations.
• Serve as the primary intake point for procurement operational and system-related requests, managing prioritization and escalation.
• Oversee procurement systems support, issue resolution, user guidance, and process documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support seamless Source-to-Pay processes and resolve operational challenges.
• Ensure procurement processes effectively support Accounts Payable and financial workflows.
• Monitor operational performance, analyze trends, and provide reporting and insights to leadership.
• Support system adoption, governance, training, and optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in procurement operations, supply chain, or Source-to-Pay environments.
• Prior leadership or people management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, contracting, procure-to-pay, invoicing, and supplier management processes.
• Experience with enterprise procurement or procure-to-pay platforms preferred.
• Proven ability to manage operational workflows, prioritize competing demands, and lead issue resolution.
• Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
