Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Neuro

$2325.60/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Travel RN with Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience to provide specialized care on a 5-bed Neuro-Progressive unit. This role requires competency in neuro care, Epic EMR familiarity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neuro-progressive and stepdown patients, adhering to healthcare protocols.
  
  
• 
  Complete neuro-progressive competency exams and skills checklists upon offer acceptance.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and clinical data accurately in Epic EMR.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with scrub dress code and facility policies.
  
  
• 
  Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of recent medical-surgical or ICU experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate expertise in neuro-progressive or neuro-intensive care settings.
  
  
• 
  Proven ability to work effectively with Epic EMR systems.
  
  
• 
  Capable of completing competency assessments and skills evaluations.
  
  
• 
  Willing to work 13-week travel assignments from August 10 to October 1, 2026.
  
  
• 
  Meet all facility-specific requirements, including completing competency exams.
