General Production

Our client, a leader in manufacturing of doors and windows, is seeking a dedicated General Production professional to join their team. As a General Production team member, you will be supporting the manufacturing process, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: General Production

Location: Mt Vernon, OH

Pay Range: $21.39

Shift: 3rd

What's the Job?

• Operate small and large machines involved in the production of doors and windows

• Work on door assembly lines building doors and windows

• Inspect all products to ensure quality standards are met

• Machining doors and windows for hardware installation

• Prepare materials and handle materials efficiently

What's Needed?

• Previous experience in commercial woodworking, manufacturing, or warehouse environments is preferred

• Basic knowledge of building materials

• Ability to perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools

• Physical ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, stand for long periods, crouch, or crawl

• Capability to lift and move stock, materials, and finished products weighing between 10 and 75 pounds
