Kitchen To Go, Inc. in Pacoima, CA is looking for one prep cook to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working and has attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Follow recipes and prepare dishes in bulk batch cooking.
Clean and Sanitize equipment and workstations
Knowledge in portion control by company standards
Wash, peel, chop, slice meats and vegetables in large quantities
Prepare sauces from various cuisine’s
Rotate, label stock and inventory with all ingredients
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and kitchens
Help pack daily meals going out for breakfast, lunch and dinner programs
Ability to multitask and work under pressure, able to work in a loud fast paced environment
Able to work in a group environment
Able to lift over 50 pounds, bend, squat, and stand for long periods of time

Qualifications

Ability to communicate and listen to team members
Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
2 years of experience as a Prep Cook preferred
Attention to Detail
Work well within a team environment
