Job Description

As the Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager in the financial and operational management of multifamily construction projects. Key responsibilities include:
  • Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget
  • Support subcontract procurement, bid leveling, and contract administration
  • Coordinate RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders to maintain project momentum
  • Work closely with field teams to align project schedules, sequencing, and logistics
  • Track project schedules and support updates using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools
  • Participate in client, subcontractor, and internal project meetings, ensuring clear communication and documentation
  • Assist with project closeout, including punch list management and turnover documentation

The Successful Applicant

For the Assistant Project Manager we are seeking:
  • Experience supporting groundup multifamily or commercial construction projects
  • Background with a reputable general contractor, ideally in a similar regional market
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore (or equivalent)
  • Understanding of project financials, including budgeting and cost control
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • A proactive attitude with a clear ambition to progress into a Project Manager role
