Communications and Marketing Officer

Job Description Position Location: This is an in‑person position in the College of Education, USF Tampa Campus. 4202 E Fowler Ave, Tampa, FL, 33620, US. Organizational Unit: Institute for School-Community Partnerships, Integrated Services, and Child Mental Health and Educational Policy (ISCP) within the College of Education. ISCP focuses on implementing research-based practices in school and community settings. Position Summary: The Marketing and Communications Officer develops creative assets and executes multi‑channel campaigns to increase awareness, engagement, and program enrollment. The role is hands‑on and analytics oriented, partnering with leadership on strategy while delivering day‑to‑day marketing execution. Responsibilities Special Requirement: In‑person position at USF Tampa Campus. Creative and Content Development Design and produce high‑quality marketing assets such as digital ads, email templates, program brochures, one‑pagers, social media graphics, landing pages, and website updates. Maintain visual consistency and brand standards. Develop conversion‑oriented content to support campaign goals. Campaign Execution Execute multi‑channel campaigns across email, social media, paid media, and web. Support campaign planning through messaging, audience targeting, and channel selection. Build and deploy promotional and nurture email campaigns. Ensure on‑time, on‑brand delivery aligned with program objectives. Performance Tracking and Optimization Monitor metrics such as engagement, conversions, and lead generation. Recommend improvements to campaign effectiveness based on data. Collaborate with leadership on ongoing optimization. Event and Program Marketing Promote executive education programs, events, and workshops. Develop promotional materials and support outreach efforts. Capture and repurpose testimonials and participant stories. Digital Presence and Social Media Execute daily social media posting, scheduling, and campaign support. Track engagement and recommend content and targeting improvements. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, public relations, technical writing, digital media, or a related field plus two years of experience in a similar role. Four years of direct experience may be used in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in executive education, professional development, or B2B marketing; familiarity with lead generation and basic nurture campaign concepts; experience within a brand‑driven environment.
