Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What you bring:

• Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential (required)
• Experience working with students in a Special Day Class (SDC) or resource setting
• Knowledge of curriculum development in English and Math for middle grades
• Ability to implement IEP goals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Passion for creating accessible, engaging instruction for all learners

In this role, you will:

• Deliver targeted English and Math instruction based on student IEPs
• Foster a supportive, structured classroom environment to meet diverse needs
• Track student progress and update IEPs in collaboration with team members
• Communicate regularly with families and partner with general education staff
• Integrate evidence-based strategies and differentiated teaching techniques
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all education regulations
