About the Position

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity providing outpatient clinic coverage. The provider will manage a balanced oncology and hematology caseload, with an average daily volume of approximately 16 clinic patients and 30 infusion patients. This is an outpatient‑only role with no inpatient responsibilities. The physician will work alongside an established oncology care team that includes physicians, a nurse practitioner, and radiation oncology support. Documentation is currently completed using Cerner, with a planned transition to Epic (Beacon) later in 2026.

Shift Details:

• Daytime clinic shifts only, Monday–Friday
• Outpatient clinic visits and infusion oversight
• No required call; optional weekend call may be available once per month
• No telehealth responsibilities

Coverage Dates / Schedule:

• Initial coverage block: April 27 – May 1, 2026
• Ongoing need for one full week of coverage per month thereafter
• Standard weekday schedule during coverage weeks

Requirements

MD specializing in Hematology/Oncology
Board Certified in both Hematology and Oncology
Active North Dakota medical license or eligibility to obtain
IMLC candidates considered
Easily transferable DEA preferred
Comfortable managing a 50/50 oncology and hematology case mix
Experience in outpatient oncology clinic and infusion settings
Clean and up‑to‑date work history
