Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license required. Certifications: ARRT in MRI, BLS Must-Have: 1 year of Epic experience required. Proficient in adult acute care and outpatient settings. Competency across all age groups (neonate through older adult).

Description: The MRI Tech will be responsible for performing MRI scans. They must have experience in imaging chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, musculoskeletal trauma, and spine. The role includes preparation and administration of contrast media. The tech will be responsible for starting peripheral IVs. Knowledge of isolation precautions is essential. Experience with equipment from various manufacturers is required. Floating to other units may be required based on census. The workplace is a community teaching medical center with advanced specialty programs. This facility is designated as a trauma center with a significant daily census. The team works collaboratively with interdisciplinary support services. Continuous learning and adherence to safety protocols are expected. Candidates must meet all necessary qualifications before applying. An understanding of patient care across diverse demographics is crucial. Ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during imaging procedures is a priority.
