SAP FICO Consultant

Role Overview:

This role is for an experienced SAP FICO functional consultant specializing in the design and configuration of SAP Finance modules. The consultant will be involved in full implementation cycles, from initial business requirements gathering to post go-live support, ensuring robust and efficient financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather business requirements and translate them into conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs.
• Perform necessary SAP configurations for SAP Finance modules.
• Write detailed specifications for the development of custom programs.
• Conduct thorough testing and coordinate transports to production environments.
• Provide comprehensive post go-live support.

Required Skills:

• 5-10 years of experience in SAP FI.
• 5-10 years of experience in Analytical Thinking.
• Strong SAP FICO functional experience, specifically in the design and configuration of SAP Finance modules.
• Experience in 2-3 full implementations of SAP FI modules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation creation and delivery.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO / FI-CA experience.
• Good understanding of accounting concepts.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP Controlling (CO) and SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI).

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and Post graduate degree (MBA / CA) is required.
• Prior experience in high tech or software industries is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• 1-2 years of RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) experience.
