Forklift Warehouse Associate - 2nd shift

Location: Birmingham, AL 35215
Pay Rate: $17.00 Per Hour
Schedule: 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM
Contract: 6 months
Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Warehouse Associate to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, operating a forklift, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments
  • Verify order contents against packing slips, tickets, or receipts
  • Accurately pick, pull, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Sort and distribute packages according to designated delivery channels
  • Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies as needed
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Forklift certification or demonstrated forklift operating experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of inventory and order fulfillment processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Work Schedule
  • 2nd Shift (6:30 PM- 2:30 AM)
