Details Surgical Services department providing perioperative care Case coverage includes ortho (total joints), general, OB/gyn, eyes, and urology procedures Day shift schedule from 0630-1700 4x10-hour shifts per week totaling 40 hours On-call responsibilities required 7 days per six weeks, including 3 weekend days Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required Epic EMR experience required Experience with ortho (total joints), general, OB/gyn, eyes, and urology cases required Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required Additional Information Perform patient assessments, care planning, and clinical interventions per unit protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs Provide patient and family education related to care, treatment, and discharge Mentor and precept staff while fostering teamwork Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives Comply with regulatory standards and practice governance model American Traveler Job ID P-750702.
