This role involves working within a surgical acute care environment, providing essential care to post-op surgical, trauma, and overflow medical patients. As a travel nurse, you will be exposed to a dynamic work environment with supportive staff.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Deliver post-op care and manage common diagnoses such as trauma and medical overflow
• Conduct dressing changes, wound care, IV therapy, and pain management
• Manage drains, NGs, central lines, and administer TPN
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
• Utilize critical thinking skills and seek assistance when needed

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• BLS certification
• Proven experience in post-op care and critical thinking
