Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control Patrol in Verona, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a secure environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $10.15 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies within a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization in accordance with site procedures. Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
