Hotel Front Desk Attendant

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values. Responsibilities: • Greet guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the reason for their visit and manage the registration process • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address and resolve guest concerns promptly. • Take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person, including groups • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately • Operate the hotel switchboard, answer inquiries, and transfer calls as needed. Qualifications: • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. • Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Compensation: $14 - $19 hourly
