About the Role You will determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, manage donor adverse events, review lab test results, and notify donors of unsuitable results. You will work under guidance from the Center Manager or Assistant Manager and under medical oversight by the Center Physician. Familiarity with plasma collection industry regulations and manufacturing environment is required. You will follow guidance from BioLife Medical Affairs and provide center‑level support for environmental, health and safety (EHS). Key Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self‑exclusion, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE). Manage donor reactions as outlined in SOPs and follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies. Co‑operate with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical guidance on donor safety and eligibility. Support the Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and determine if further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance. Serve as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements. Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA). Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification. Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy. Successfully complete the FDA‑approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years in a clinical or hospital setting. Compensation and Benefits Location: USA – CA – Visalia Hourly wage range: $38.72 – $53.24 per hour.
