Food Service Worker

Join Our Team As a Food Service Worker, you'll help create a welcoming dining experience by supporting meal preparation, serving customers, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area.

What You'll Do

• Assist cooks with daily meal preparation, including cutting, peeling, slicing, salads, desserts, and plating.
• Take customer orders, accommodate special requests, and serve meals promptly and accurately.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service, answer questions, address concerns, and make menu suggestions.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen and dining areas by clearing tables, washing dishes, taking out trash, and cleaning surfaces.
• Wash pots, pans, dishes, and other kitchen equipment while following proper sanitation practices.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to ensure food is prepared and served safely.
• Work collaboratively with cooks and other team members to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Education: Some High School Completed required
• Experience: Experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of role 0-1 year required
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
• Knowledge of food service lines set-up and temperature requirements.
• Skill in cooking and preparing a variety of foods.
• Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards.
