The patient population consists of individuals aged 18 or older, with occasional pediatric postoperative patients. Common diagnoses include COPD exacerbation, DKA, atrial fibrillation, pre/post heart catheterization, and septic shock. The role requires strong teamwork and compassion for patient advocacy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of ICU experience. The facility is fully accredited and features various services including a cardiac cath lab and emergency room. Equipment used includes Baxter pumps, GE bedside monitors, and Arjo beds. The electronic health record system in use is Meditech.
