Role Overview

As a Nurse Technician, you will perform specific nursing functions aligned with your current education and verified competencies. Your responsibilities include assisting with medication administration (excluding chemotherapy, IV medications, and scheduled drugs), monitoring patient responses, and supporting the nursing team in delivering compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to scope of practice and facility standards under RN supervision.
• Administer medications safely following the 8 rights of medication administration.
• Observe and report patient reactions and changes to the RN supervisor promptly.
• Assist with patient positioning, hygiene, feeding, and rehabilitative programs.
• Ensure patient rights, dignity, and safety are maintained at all times.
• Document care accurately and timely according to policies.
• Support team efforts to meet patient fluid and dietary needs and respond promptly to call lights.
• Report any incidents or concerns regarding patient safety or abuse immediately.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be currently enrolled in a nursing program approved by the relevant commission or a recent graduate within the last 30 days.
