Project Manager - Contractor

Our client is a global, industry-leading food and beverage company with a portfolio of well-known consumer brands. The organization partners closely with internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver high-impact work across print, digital, experiential, and content channels in a fast-paced, agency-style environment. This is a 1-year contingent role based onsite in Saint Louis, MO. Only local candidates will be considered. The office is pet-friendly . Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with agency or creative services experience to support a high-volume creative organization. The ideal candidate is a proven high performer who can contribute quickly, manage complexity, and thrive in a fast-moving environment. This role serves as a central hub across cross-functional teams, owning timelines, driving process efficiency, and ensuring seamless execution from kickoff through delivery. Key Responsibilities Project & Process Management Own and communicate end-to-end project timelines for internal teams and external partners. Lead project kickoffs, working sessions, status meetings, and presentations. Manage multiple quick-turn projects with strong attention to detail and organization. Drive process improvements using agile principles and facilitate project retrospectives. Act as a cross-functional partner to ensure alignment and project success. Production & Execution Manage production phases following creative and copy approval. Oversee execution across print, digital, experiential, and content deliverables. Ensure accuracy of specifications, formats, and final assets. Contribute strategically to conversations around communications and the consumer journey. Agency Operations Open and manage jobs using agency project management tools (Workfront preferred). Partner with account leads to accurately scope projects. Issue POs to external vendors and manage production-related requests. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and agency partners to ensure smooth delivery. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in an agency project management or creative services role. Demonstrated ability to deliver strong results in a client-service environment. Ability to adapt quickly and perform at a high level in a fast-paced setting. Skills & Tools Experience with Workfront or similar project management platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive.
