About the role

As Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive care to patients in our Palliative Care and Rehabilitation Ward, while supporting: Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in nursing, Medical staff and Allied Health. You will give direct care to a specific patient population within each unit, using a patient centred approach to patient assessment and maintaining continuity of care for each patient. You will evaluate outcomes of care and initiate appropriate follow-up. You will also maintain a discharge plan for each patient from admission to discharge, and participate in the team leader role.

• Ensure that all documentation is accurate and completed in a professional and timely manner.

About you

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
• Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
