Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technology and offers a comfortable, inviting atmosphere for both staff and patients.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Physical Therapists to aid in the execution of individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.Assist with therapeutic exercises, balance training, and mobility techniques, ensuring patient safety and proper technique.Maintain therapy environments by ensuring equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use, which includes preparing treatment areas before sessions.Support administrative aspects of patient care, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and documenting therapy sessions within electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT.Engage with patients to motivate and educate them about their rehabilitation process, ensuring they understand their treatment goals and progress.Patient Population / Client FocusAs a PTA in our orthopedic outpatient clinic, your primary focus will be on a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will encounter patients of all ages, requiring tailored approaches that foster trust and promote optimal recovery outcomes. This role is vital in enhancing our patients' quality of life by facilitating their journey towards independence and functionality.QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.Must hold an active California PTA license.Minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient setting, showcasing your practical expertise in rehabilitation.Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and communication.Preferred ExperienceDemonstrable experience in utilizing manual therapy techniques to enhance patient outcomes.Previous exposure or training in orthopedic physical therapy specifically.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
