Aviation Maintenance Technician AS350B3Responsible to ensure aircraft is airworthy to transport medical crew and patients. Responsible for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), General Operations Manual guidelines (GOM), and thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures.Schedule:14/14 Schedule, 12 hour shiftsPay:$100,000 per yearAll necessary travel to place of work will be reimbursed by the companyBenefits:Health, Dental and VisionCompetitive 401(k) Retirement PlanOff Duty HousingEssential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation RegulationsUpon installation or removal of any component or assembly, the Mechanic shall verify by physical inspection or markings on the part that the part number and serial number match the associated documentationEnsures all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals to include specific chaptersMaintains work area in a clean and professional mannerResponsible for correcting compliance or safety issues when directed by the Director of Operations, Director of Maintenance, Chief PilotResponsible for advising the Pilot in Command (PIC) of any maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of serviceResponsible for validating or confirming the data in the Status Report concerning the aircraft he or she is working on includingRequest aviation parts and supplies in order to maintain an adequate and orderly inventory of all stock items to ensure prompt repairs for operational readinessOther Duties as assignedProvide timely on call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays if necessaryRegular scheduled attendancePeriodic travel in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives will be expected.Subject to applicable laws and policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
