Product Manager, Complex Products (HYBRID or REMOTE)

Equitable is looking for a Product Manager to shape the future of its growing investment and advisory platform, Equitable Advisors. You will leverage your experience with alternative investments and other complex wealth management products to deliver solutions that help clients achieve their goals and enable financial advisors to build their practices. In executing the firm’s product strategy, you will gain exposure to many functional areas as you lead and collaborate with key stakeholders, map out deliverables, advance projects, and gain approval from senior leaders. This is an opportunity to serve as a subject matter expert and own an end-to-end process from product onboarding to order review while managing risk and driving results. Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing due diligence of complex products including real estate exchange programs (1031/DSTs) and other alternative and/or complex products. Conduct principal review of real estate exchange business (or other alternative investments, as needed) with a thorough analysis of each unique transaction and prompt resolution of any issues. Team up with supervision, compliance partners and vendors on controls and risk management. Act as the subject matter expert with regards to assigned product lines while maintaining a strong understanding of all product offerings offered through the BD/RIA. Review, edit and create communications and training content for assigned products. Manage relationships with external vendors and product sponsors for assigned product lines. Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to advance initiatives, resolve conflicts, address complex issues, and achieve business goals and objectives. Monitor business and industry trends and identify opportunities to better serve the needs of clients and advisors, supporting growth of sales and assets for the Equitable Advisors retail channel. Understand and contribute to the firm’s written supervisory procedures (WSPs). Support or execute additional ad‑hoc projects as assigned by your leader. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $80,000 – $100,000 . Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. Required Qualifications 4+ years of product manager experience supporting investment securities, alternative investments, and/or other financial services products. Active FINRA Series 7, Series 66 or Series 63 and 65 registrations. FINRA Series 24 registration or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire. Strong knowledge of alternative investments, mutual funds, investment advisory programs and general securities. Client‑centric attitude and keen understanding of the considerations required to assess product fit and transaction suitability based on client‑specific facts and circumstances. Preferred Qualifications Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Commitment to learning and expanding knowledge of investment products and industry. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Effective communication skills.
