It is understood that the contract holder for this position will be asked, when available, to coordinate and cover Class 1a-4 events in the auditorium, including: Communicating with outside groups to identify the scope support needs. Submit an estimate of the number of personnel hours to the facilities office, and schedule workers. Supervise setup and the actual event to manage light, sound, and equipment needs. Verify and complete timesheets for support crew and submit to the facilities office. In the event the contract holder is not available to coordinate and cover these events, they will be asked to assist in securing an alternate. Payment beyond the supplemental contract amount will be applied for the coordination and coverage of Class 1a-4 events as outlined above. Duties and Responsibilities Provide recommendations and assist the administration regarding auditorium upgrades, repairs, maintenance, and equipment. Train student light and sound crew on the proper operation of equipment. Assist with the coordination of auditorium needs for all Class 1 organizations and UCFSD staff members. Coordination includes the scheduling of student workers when requested by the administration and/or Class I user. Responsible for being present at major events (Class I) to manage & supervise light, sound, equipment, and any other auditorium needs. Major events include Fall Play, Musical, Spring Play, Back to School Night, and Course Selection Night. It is understood that other major events (Class I) may be added to the schedule which would require the Auditorium Coordinator to be present. Submit names of students to HR who have worked Class 1a-4 events in the auditorium.
