Cyber Security Architect

DescriptionPosition OverviewTEKsystems is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect with strong Enterprise Architecture capabilities to support a strategic enterprise-wide initiative focused on PII data mapping, classification, governance, and privacy compliance. This individual will join the Enterprise Architecture team and partner closely with Cybersecurity, Data Governance, and Application teams to establish and operationalize processes that identify, track, and govern sensitive data across the organization's application portfolio.This role is ideal for a Security Architect looking to expand into Enterprise Architecture while driving enterprise-wide privacy, governance, and security initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support PII data mapping efforts across a large enterprise application portfolio.Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Cybersecurity teams to operationalize data governance processes.Evaluate, document, and maintain data classification standards and privacy controls.Collaborate with application owners, security teams, and business stakeholders to identify and classify sensitive data.Support ongoing governance activities for newly implemented applications and technologies.Develop and maintain architecture artifacts, documentation, and governance processes.Leverage enterprise architecture and privacy tooling, including OneTrust and SAP LeanIX.Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes to ensure proper data governance considerations are incorporated into new initiatives.Support emerging privacy and governance requirements related to AI-enabled solutions and enterprise data environments.SkillsSecurity architecture, Information security, stakeholder management, privacy and complianceTop Skills DetailsSecurity architecture,Information security,stakeholder management,privacy and complianceAdditional Skills & QualificationsRequired Qualifications7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Architecture, Security Engineering, or Enterprise Architecture.Strong experience implementing security recommendations across IAM and broader cybersecurity programs.Experience with:PII data mappingData classificationData governancePrivacy compliance initiativesSolid understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations.Experience partnering with cross-functional teams across Security, Enterprise Architecture, Data, and Technology organizations.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with OneTrust.Experience with SAP LeanIX or other Enterprise Architecture tools.Experience working with data warehouses, enterprise data platforms, or analytics environments.Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or similar.Experience supporting AI governance, privacy, or emerging technology initiatives.Enterprise Architecture experience or desire to transition into an Enterprise Architect role.Experience LevelExpert LevelJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Bolingbrook, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80.00 - $85.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
