This full-time role, spanning from August 12 through November 1, focuses on a complex needs population, including students with significant autism spectrum disorder and a range of other disabilities.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license (state certification required)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Previous school-based SLP experience, particularly with complex needs and significant ASD populations
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and experience collaborating on multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt session materials and strategies to meet diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students with complex disabilities and ASD, individually and in groups
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement detailed treatment plans, and track student progress
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, aides, families, and related service providers
• Document services and maintain all required student records in compliance with school and legal standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute informed recommendations to support best outcomes
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and advocate for students’ communication needs
