In this role, you will be responsible for production assembly activities, ensuring products meet quality specifications while maintaining food safety standards and productivity goals. Pay rate: $19.31 - $19.81/hour.Duties: As an Assembly and Packaging Associate, you will have a direct impact on airline customer satisfaction and be part of a team responsible for preparing products for flights out of LAX.Functions and ResponsibilitiesBuild kits of dry goods, liquor, beverage, and equipment items into airline containers according to airline specificationsAssemble completed kits and various bulk items into airline carts, carriers, etc. according to specifications, boarding check-sheets, and assembly diagramsKeep production areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standardsDocument inventory usage in compliance with regulatory and company requirementsComply with hygiene, jewelry, and use of PPE requirementsAdditional duties may be assigned as deemed necessaryPosition RequirementsQualifications and skill requirements:Previous airline catering or production assembly work preferredMust have a current food handler cardMust be able to read and write in EnglishEffective communication with supervisors and co-workersReliable attendance and ability to work overtime on occasionMust be able to work in an operation that is a 24/7, 365-day environment and be flexible with shift/day off changesMust be comfortable working in cold temperatures of 40 degreesPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift, push, pull, and move 25-50lbs frequently. Regularly stands, bends, and performs repetitive movements during work shift.Requirements: Background check, drug test, stand for shift duration, must be at least 18 years old. Able to lift 50 pounds. No education requirement.
