Material Handler / Scrap Recycling Operator

Now Hiring: Full-Time Material Handler

Are you an experienced equipment operator looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a growing company? We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join our team. This position plays a key role in the daily operations of a busy recycling facility by operating equipment, handling materials, and helping maintain an efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate material handling equipment, including excavators and other heavy machinery.
Sort, process, and prepare scrap materials for recycling.
Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers.
Assist with inventory tracking and scheduling of incoming and outgoing materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Work closely with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating a material handler, excavator, or similar heavy equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Valid driver's license and dependable transportation required.
Escavation experience within the last year
