Our organization is on the lookout for a committed Outpatient Primary Care Physician to become part of the Division of General Internal Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. We are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, education, and research.
Position Overview:This role involves serving as a Primary Care Outpatient faculty physician, which encompasses a variety of responsibilities including office visits, consultations, supervising and teaching medical students and residents, and participating in relevant medical school and departmental committees.
Key Responsibilities:Provide outpatient care within the General Internal Medicine practice, which includes seeing patients at the Clinical Academic Building (CAB) and potentially at various outpatient satellite locations, including the Executive Health Program.
Ensure timely completion of all charting and billing tasks.
Engage in the education and training of medical students and residents, as well as participate in all academic and clinical activities assigned by the Division Chief.
Contribute to clinical research initiatives as opportunities arise.
Take part in relevant committees within the Department of Medicine and the Medical School.
Attend Division and Department meetings, including faculty meetings, Grand Rounds, and sessions for resident recruitment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Division Chief or Department Chairman.
Must hold Board Certification in Internal Medicine or be Board eligible.
The expected salary range for this position is between $247,027 and $268,473 annually.
The final salary will be influenced by various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, and expertise, as well as the availability of departmental or grant funds to support the role. Market benchmarks and internal equity will also be considered to ensure fair compensation within the broader university structure.
