iMIS Member Service Representative - $23-26/hr - Alexandria, VA

About The Job: Serve as a primary point of contact for members and prospective members, providing exceptional customer service via phone, email, chat, and web inquiries Process memberships, renewals, registrations, orders, and member requests accurately and efficiently Resolve member concerns, answer questions about products and services, and support member retention and engagement efforts Maintain and update membership records, including demographic information, address changes, and duplicate record management Conduct outreach calls and support special member engagement initiatives Track service metrics, assist with reporting, and support finance-related account reconciliations Collaborate with internal teams to provide member feedback and improve the overall member experience About You: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of customer service or membership services experience required Experience working in a membership association environment preferred Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly Experience with iMIS strongly preferred; Zendesk or similar ticketing platforms preferred Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize competing demands, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Professional, calm, and member-focused approach when handling inquiries and concerns About The Position: Start Date: ASAP!
