We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our team at our facility in Aurora, CO.The Maintenance Planner is responsible for owning the Maintenance, Planning and Scheduling system. You are part of the operations leadership team that is responsible for supporting and implementing change management and productivity improvements within the plant. In addition, they will be responsible for leading Maintenance standard work practices across the plant that ensure reliability, maintainability, and availability of plant resources with specific focus on overall deterioration losses to deliver the plants Compelling Business Need. The job duties include responsibility for assuring food safety and for food quality for Dessert Holdings. The typical hiring range for this role is $70,000 to $85,000 annually and is based on several factors such as education, work experience, skills, certifications, location, etc. In addition to pay, Dessert Holdings offers benefits such as a choice of comprehensive medical plans, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and retirement contribution to all eligible employees.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible and accountable for MP&S Competency, which includes ensuring plant standards are aligned to Dessert Holdings Standards. This includes plant utilizing CMMS system as intended including following master data standardization.Reviews all incoming approved work orders and ensures that Safety, Material, People, Tools, When, Where (SIMPTWWI) are included on all job plans.Ensures all Asset's within the CMMS are maintained from Cradle to Grave, and include BOMS, PMS and critical spare parts for each asset. This includes accountability for ensuring new equipment brought in follows same standards.Drives improvements in equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability by ensuring focusing on plants top losses by being an active participant in Daily Direction setting meetings.Accountable for spare parts process and ensure proper safety stock levels and maintenance strategies are aligned.Creating and publishing the plant maintenance work plan for the week including any standard plant stopsWorks collaboratively with Maintenance manager to set 30/90 actions to ensure Key standard metrics are met and aligned with Dessert Holdings StandardsUnderstands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s)Will perform other duties as required by supervisor and reporting structureDocument all Maintenance work activity within CMMS System.Effectively support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program with a goal of continually reducing unscheduled downtime.QualificationsMust have experience working with Master Data and CMMS systemsMust have Mechanical and Electrical experience and understanding.Must have experience Leading and owning RCA processes and systemsMust have knowledge for identification of Component Failure modes and counter measure preventative maintenance tasks to prevent failure modesAbility to understand Total Cost of Ownership and ability to coach maintenance team and leaders on changes or creation to maintenance standards.Ability to Record all maintenance work within CMMS system and follow all CMMS Process and ProceduresMust have a flexible scheduleMust be willing to work overtime including weekends if necessaryProficiency in MS Office and basic PC skillsFEMA / RCM development and implementationWorking Knowledge of Ovens, bakery equipment, and packaging equipment.AIB Bakery Equipment training course is helpful.Required:3+ industrial Mechanical experience or two-year technical degree preferredMust be able to read, write and speak English, preferred if can read, write and speak English and Spanish.Must be able to successfully complete HACCP CertificationMust have Forklift License or able to complete required training within 90 days of hireAbout Dessert Holdings: Dessert Holdings is North America's fastest-growing premium dessert company, recognized for providing retail and foodservice customers with chef-inspired, innovative desserts made with real ingredients, a flexible and low-cost supply chain, and best-in-class service.
