Field Engineer 4

[About the Role]
Join a dynamic team as a Field Engineer 4 in Philadelphia, PA (19146). As a key client-facing technician, you will provide on-site repair and support for laptops, desktops, and peripherals across the metro and surrounding areas. This contract role is ideal for candidates who thrive in independent, mobile work environments and are passionate about hands-on technology solutions.
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues including hard drive, motherboard, and keyboard replacements
- Perform whole unit swaps and handle PC peripheral repairs or replacements
- Update and close service tickets in real time using a company-provided phone and call management system
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism while traveling to various client locations [Required Skills and Experience] - Minimum 1 year hands-on experience with desktop and laptop repairs (break-fix)
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving basic hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to work independently
- Must possess own reliable car and active car insurance [Preferred Skills] - Background in computer building or assembly
