Warehouse Operator (Day Shift)

Title: Warehouse Operator Job#: 2026-18274 Location: 2040 Heiserman Drive, Brighton, MI 48114 Industry: Manufacturing (Paint, Coatings, Chemicals) Pay: $22.00 Hourly Schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday thru Friday (1st Shift) (Overtime as needed on weekdays and possibly on Saturdays 6:00am to 12:00noon) Education: High School Diploma Required Experience: We are seeking candidates with at least 2 years’ experience in a Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving or Distribution experience. We require at least 2 years’ experience using Pallet Jack and 2 years Forklift Driving experience. Good Computer skills are required, as well as experience using RF Scanners. Axalta Coating Systems (Company Website Link) Job Description: This position would be responsible for performing the following function: · Maintain good work attendance record. · Properly wear the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). · Adhere to all safety rules, regulations and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies as set by the company, including reporting hazards, incidents, or accidents. · Being able to operate electric pallet jacks in the safest manner. · Maintaining good communication skills both verbally and written. · Order picking (packing, stacking & palletizing boxes for secure pallet loads). · Use of electronic RF scan gun technology and reading & completing order paperwork to pick orders. · Use of an automated wrapping machine to shrink wrap pallets for shipping. · Accurately audit shipment orders and cycle count warehouse inventory. · Keeping the assigned work area organized and cleaned. · Assist with boxing of finished goods or tasks as assigned by management as needed. · Preferred experience of 2 years in a shipping, receiving and/or warehousing environment with practical knowledge of shipping practices and procedures.
