Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Vascular Surgery

Description This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Locum Vascular Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality surgical services to patients with vascular conditions. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes while adhering to the highest standards of medical practice. Responsibilities Perform vascular surgeries, including endovascular and open procedures Evaluate patients and develop appropriate treatment plans Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Participate in continuing education and professional development activities Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license to practice in the state of Indiana Board certification or eligibility in Vascular Surgery Strong clinical and surgical skills in vascular procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to patient-centered care Prior experience in a locum tenens or contract role is preferred Schedule: 3-5 weekdays per week No call required Monthly Volume: 8 surgery cases, 60 cath lab procedures Required Procedures: Arterial and venous, forming/testing/repairing fistulas, open carotids, intra-op rescue for other surgeons, and anterior lumbar spine exposures EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr Rinvio Recruitment
