Position Summary Position performs diagnostic radiographic examinations, applying principles of radiation protection and principles of effective patient care. Location

Scheduled Hours 40 Primary Duties & Responsibilities Performs radiographic examinations per scanning protocols, correlating patient history with examination and presents study to physician for examination while adhering to patient schedules. Assists physicians with procedures, obtains necessary supplies and equipment and monitors patient needs while assisting physician with patient support. Enhances own professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and conferences. Maintains documentation as requires, including patient files, performs data entry and completes paperwork needed for procedures/processes. Develops film through automatic processing, monitoring darkroom supplies. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Assists with maintaining supplies.
