Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Elite Home Solution, you will work primarily in patients' homes throughout the Saint Petersburg area. This onsite role allows for a flexible work schedule, where you can choose your hours from Monday to Friday, fostering a work-life balance that encourages both your personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, mobility, and overall health.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on patients' unique needs and goals, utilizing methods such as exercises, stretching techniques, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Provide guidance and education to patients, families, and caregivers on effective techniques and assistive devices to promote independence in activities of daily living.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices in physical therapy by attending workshops and engaging with professional networks, maintaining your technical and professional knowledge.
• Evaluate the need for assistive devices for mobility and self-care; provide recommendations and training as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is focused on helping patients of all ages, from children to seniors, who are in recovery from various injuries, illnesses, or surgical procedures. You will play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life by maximizing their mobility and functionality through tailored therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with preference given to candidates with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida, as recognized by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and the healthcare team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and documentation systems.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic home care environment.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy practice, preferably with home care patients.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and implementing individualized care plans.
• Knowledge of assistive technology and devices, and experience in training patients and caregivers in their use.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
