Medical Oncologist-Hematologist - The William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, Westminster, Maryland Opportunity: The William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center at Carroll Hospital is a fully accredited program by the Commission on Cancer and has a full-time opportunity for a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join their well-established team. In addition to daily clinical responsibilities, the physician will partner with the team to guide processes that achieve improvement in the quality of patient care through evidence-based clinical practices and promote an integrative oncology model of care. · The William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center is a program of LifeBridge Health's Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and is located at Carroll Hospital, a LifeBridge Health center, in Westminster, MD. · Provides professional outpatient oncology/hematology services to patients in the Cancer Center and on-call consultation services to inpatients at Carroll Hospital. · The qualified candidate will work beside our board-certified hematologists/medical oncologists, our board-certified radiation oncologist, and our certified adult nurse practitioner in this state-of-the-art outpatient setting. · This position is supported by a robust, multi-disciplinary team including oncology nurse navigators, social worker, oncology dietitian, genetic counselor, financial counselors, onsite radiation oncology and palliative care/hospice services. · The Cancer Center offers an onsite infusion center, oncology pharmacy and research team.
