Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a member of our expanding team of imaging professionals. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and care
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of exceptional diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, swiftly reporting any malfunctions
• Thoroughly document procedures and securely maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed
