Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,353 per week

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Tampa, Florida. Job Overview As a travel Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities Assist licensed Physical Therapists with patient care and therapeutic exercises. Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Support a variety of outpatient treatment protocols under travel assignment conditions. Assignment Details Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift length: 8 hours Employment type: Travel Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Florida State PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC (may be required). Experience in outpatient settings preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience with orthopedic evaluations and therapeutic exercise programs. Familiarity with electronic medical records in outpatient clinics.
