Quality Inspector 1st Shift
Pay: $18$25/hour (based on experience) Schedule: MondayFriday, 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
We are hiring a Quality Floor Inspector for a growing, family-oriented manufacturing company that operates as a job shop specializing in short to medium run metal stampings. What You'll Do:
- Perform in-process inspections directly on the production floor
- Inspect stamped and fabricated metal parts for defects and quality issues
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and specifications
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Document inspection results accurately and communicate findings to production teams
- Ensure products meet quality standards before moving to the next stage
- Work independently while supporting overall production quality
What We're Looking For:
- Previous manufacturing or production floor experience required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects
- Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools
- Ability to work on the floor in a hands-on inspection role
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
