COMPENSATION: $70,500 - $75,000 annually + Bonus
*Compensation in this range will be determined based on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an Onsite Specialist to support one of our key client partnerships in Fremont, CA. The Onsite Specialist will serve as a highly visible, employee-facing resource with a strong focus on employee relations, HR administration, and day-to-day workforce support.

The ideal Onsite Specialist has hands-on HR experience, including exposure to employee relations, and is comfortable addressing employee concerns while recognizing when matters should be escalated. This individual will work closely with employees, supervisors, client leadership, and the Eastridge team and should be highly organized, proactive, relationship-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

• Serve as a primary onsite resource for employees, providing support related to workplace concerns, policies, attendance, timekeeping, payroll, and other HR-related matters.

• Support day-to-day employee relations matters, including gathering information, documenting concerns, addressing issues within scope, and escalating complex or sensitive matters to HR leadership as appropriate.
• Partner closely with client supervisors, managers, and Eastridge leadership to address employee concerns and ensure timely and consistent follow-up.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, client leadership, and contingent workers while serving as a trusted onsite point of contact.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee documentation and records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Support HR administrative functions including employee records, compliance, timekeeping, payroll adjustments, sick leave, reporting, and other workforce-related processes.
• Audit timekeeping information and assist with payroll-related questions, discrepancies, and adjustments.
• Provide guidance to client managers regarding program processes, policies, expectations, and appropriate next steps.
• Monitor program activities and proactively identify potential employee, compliance, or operational concerns.
• Identify challenges, recommend solutions, and appropriately escalate matters requiring additional HR or leadership support.
• Maintain a visible onsite presence and travel between client locations in Fremont to support employees and supervisors as needed.
• Assist with recruiting, screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and new hire orientation based on business needs.
• Support high-volume onboarding activities and help provide an organized and positive new hire experience.
• Maintain tracking tools and prepare basic reports using Excel and Google Workspace.
• Provide timely communication, reporting, and updates to client and Eastridge stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and the employee and client experience.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned based on business needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience working in Human Resources, employee relations, people operations, HR administration, or a related employee-support function.
• Hands-on experience responding to employee questions, workplace concerns, or employee relations matters.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
• Sound judgment with the ability to determine when an employee matter can be addressed independently and when escalation is appropriate.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, managers, and leadership.
• Strong administrative, organizational, documentation, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented approach with the ability to work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative team.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operate effectively in situations that may not always have a defined process or immediate solution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel approximately 10% locally between client locations in Fremont.

It would be great if you had these:

• 2+ years of HR, employee relations, people operations, or related experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills
• Experience supporting an hourly, high-volume workforce within manufacturing, warehouse/distribution, staffing, retail, hospitality, or a similar environment.
• Previous experience handling employee relations matters within a high-volume environment.
• Staffing, recruiting, or onboarding experience.
• Experience with payroll, timekeeping, attendance, or workforce compliance processes.
• Experience using Excel or Google Sheets to maintain employee tracking tools and basic reports.
• Experience working directly with client or business leaders in an account management, HR, or workforce support capacity.

Travel

• Approximately 10% local travel is expected between client locations in Fremont.
