Marshall Grain Company is seeking a motivated, experienced gardener to join our Organic Landscape Maintenance team . We specialize in organic gardening practices and the use of Texas native and adapted plants , providing high-quality care for residential landscapes throughout our service area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who truly enjoys working with plants and takes pride in professional gardening work.
Important: This is NOT a lawn mowing position.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will work at customer properties throughout Tarrant County performing skilled gardening and plant care tasks, including:
- Planting and transplanting
- Organic fertilization
- Pruning and detailed plant care
- Weeding and bed maintenance
- Mulch installation
- Monitoring overall plant health
Occasionally, you may also:
- Purchase plant material
- Transport plants to job sites
- Support installation crews as needed

What We’re Looking For
Required
- Passionate, hands-on gardener
- Experience working with landscape plants (North Texas experience strongly preferred)
- Ability to work independently and stay productive
- Comfortable working outdoors in hot and cold weather
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Able to communicate professionally with clients
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to drive a pickup truck with trailer
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience with organic gardening methods
- Familiarity with Texas native and adapted plants
