Job Details Position: PCU Registered Nurse (Progressive Care Unit RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Setting: Progressive Care / Step-Down Unit Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210 Start Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Orientation: 36 hours Weekend Coverage: May be required based on unit needs Float: May float to nearby affiliated units as needed Job Requirements Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU nursing , step-down, or similar acute care experience Current RN license in hand at time of submission BLS , ACLS , and NIHSS certifications required Epic charting experience required Strong skills in telemetry monitoring, IV starts, and advanced cardiac care Experience caring for progressive care patient populations, including adults and geriatrics Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing unit needs Two professional references required Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to PCU and step-down patients Monitor telemetry, assess patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition Administer medications and therapies according to established protocols Perform IV management, line care, and ongoing patient assessments Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to support excellent patient outcomes Document accurately in Epic and communicate effectively with the care team Support a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered care Float to other units within the organization as needed based on staffing and patient care demands Apply now for this travel PCU RN job in Columbus, Ohio and bring your progressive care nursing expertise to a respected healthcare team.
