Description:
Seeking a highly motivated individual with a positive 'can-do' attitude and a passion for business analysis. The Senior Business Analyst will have a high standard of quality, performance and reliability. Their responsibilities include requirements gathering, documenting business processes and generation of comprehensive user requirements. The Senior Business Analyst is one of the key project stakeholders and a visionary that significantly influences their project team. Acts as the liaison between the applications development team and the business users to identify, assess, and document business requirements, analyze the impact of proposed solutions across the organization and develop use cases that explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to the development team.



Typical projects will involve converting and rewriting legacy applications and tables to a .NET framework using SQL 2019

Responsibilities:
• Understand and document the business needs of our customers by conducting user analysis and interviewing subject matter experts, customers, and other stakeholders to identify and clarify requirements, and translate business needs into clearly defined and detailed requirements, and define user-focused specifications
• Perform testing (creating test cases, executing them, tracing requirements to test cases, and reporting status
• Write well-formed acceptance criteria for specific feature requirements
• Create prototypes for user interfaces, including creating an initial concept drawing for new features
• Work with the entire software development team to deliver the application throughout the SDLC using a mix of Agile and Waterfall development techniques
• Ensure quality and distribution of project deliverables, status reports, meeting minutes, etc.
• Communicate project updates and status reports internally and externally
• Ensures changes to the requirements are approved and documented
• ttains sign-off from the business users on requirements and ensures the applications developers can translate the requirements into systems specifications
• ssists project managers in managing scope
• ssists in the creation and management of project plans



Education/Experience Requirements:
• Experience supporting an SDLC using Agile and Waterfall methodologies and working directly with software development teams
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including technical consultants and end users
• bility to handle multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet demanding timelines
• Demonstrated technical aptitude with windows applications, web applications, and desktop applications and an understanding of basic software technical underpinnings
• Strong knowledge of methodologies and tools related to business analysis
