Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Applying various mental health therapy techniques and interventions tailored to treat diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders in individuals and families. \n
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing initial discharge plans to guide treatment direction. \n
- Facilitating individual, group, or family therapy sessions based on the specific needs outlined in each client's treatment plan. \n
- Creating initial treatment plans based on assessments and coordinating additional services as needed, ensuring plans are regularly updated to reflect progress. \n
- Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of therapy services provided, adhering to both facility standards and professional regulations. \n
- Managing and maintaining a caseload effectively while attending treatment team meetings to collaborate with fellow staff members on patient care. \n
- Demonstrating a consistently positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor towards clients, and proactively addressing any concerns or complaints. \n
- Prioritizing patient safety as the utmost concern, ensuring a supportive and secure environment for all clients. \n
- Adapting to other functions and tasks as assigned by the clinical leadership team to support overall clinic operations. \n

Qualifications\nTo be successful in this role, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

- A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related Human Services field is required. \n
- Possession of requisite state or national licensure as a professional therapy provider, with eligibility for state licensure. \n
- Licensure as one of the following is mandatory: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). \n
While a minimum of two years of experience is required, we particularly value candidates who have demonstrated proficiency in working with adults, children, and adolescents, showcasing adaptability and versatility in their therapeutic approach.
