Product Manager, T-Platform

Job Overview The Product Manager - Technical Discovery / Integration supports technical discovery, integration analysis, onboarding readiness, and architecture coordination activities for T-Platform, T-Mobile's enterprise operational and management platform for TFB products and services. The role operates within the T-Platform Product Realization organization and partners closely with Product Strategy, UX, Technical Discovery, Architecture, Operations, and Engineering teams to support onboarding and operationalization of highly integrated enterprise telecom products and capabilities. Job Responsibilities Vision, Strategy, and Analysis Owns product end to end for products or features with moderate level of complexity and scope, including creating, managing, maintaining, and communicating product vision and roadmap. Identifies target customer(s) and drives end user product research. Partners with internal and external stakeholders to understand current customer experiences and identify opportunities. Conducts analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to identify product innovation opportunities and assess impact. Uses rapid hypothesis‑driven testing methodologies and experiments (e.g., prototype, A/B testing) to inform direction and prioritize investment. Performs cost‑benefit/ROI/NPV analysis and competitive product analysis to support decision making. Secures and maintains product funding following enterprise processes. Communicates, influences, and sells ideas at Director level and below, regularly delivering product presentations. Provides ad‑hoc analysis and insights to management on request. Recommends product feature sets and positioning strategies to improve customer experience and drive growth. Engages with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities. Keeps current on technology trends and assesses their impact on the roadmap. Customer Evangelist Leverages customer insights for product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities. Spends time meeting with customers to build empathy and understand their needs. Creates and manages an active VOC feed. Seeks opportunities to delight or meet unmet customer needs. Advocates for the customer internally and externally, fostering a customer‑first mindset. Tests ideas with real customers to ensure desired product benefits. Product Execution / Delivery Translates strategy into detailed features and user stories for development teams, including prototype creation when necessary. Owns and manages product backlog and priorities for 1–4 Agile/Scrum teams. Scopes and prioritizes activities based on business and customer impact. Collaborates with Architecture and Development to incorporate technical debt and long‑term investment into the roadmap. Ensures production defects are included in backlog prioritization for resolution. Creates and communicates anticipated release schedules. Generates and maintains dashboards tracking product health and metrics. Conducts Product Quarterly Business Reviews and Steering meetings. Runs beta and pilot programs for early‑stage products. Carries out product promotion in collaboration with advertising and public relations. Supports sales, marketing, and other stakeholder teams with product knowledge. Assists overall execution from strategy and architecture to deployment and support. Communicates technical challenges and trade‑off decisions to stakeholders. Accountable for product quality and performance in production and responds to critical defects. Manages development of adoption tools and training materials. Identifies operational issues and drives improvement plans. Relationship & People, Professional Development Builds positive relationships with technical and non‑technical teams, including sales, accounting, marketing, legal, go‑to‑market, and finance. Engages with external partners and customer representatives. Maintains professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies. Develops adoption tools and training materials. Education Bachelor's Degree (Required) Work Experience 4–7 years relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment (Required) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Communication: Proven ability to communicate effectively with leadership and influence collaboration. Business Analytics: Strong analytical skills to identify and synthesize product use data. Project Management: Experience delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives. SCRUM: Proven success delivering software with Agile Scrum methodologies. Agile Methodologies: Proven success delivering software with Agile Scrum methodologies. Technical Writing: Strong requirements elicitation and concise writing skills for diverse audiences. Agile Project Management: Experience with Agile backlog and project management tools. Collaboration: Ability to develop initiatives, features, and user stories that the DevOps teams can ingest. Minimum requirements: 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States.
