21-305 Kuchu's Host/Cashier Associate

The Host/Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to restaurant guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming dining experience. This position requires a dynamic individual who is detail-oriented and proficient in managing guest interactions, order accuracy, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Host/Cashier will be expected to engage with guests using the 10/5 Rule, maintain the integrity of financial transactions, and assist team members to provide seamless service.Customer Service Excellence:Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive service to all guests and staff. Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times, addressing any issues with the “Find a Path to Yes” approach to guest concerns and thanking guests for their patronage.Guest Engagement:Engage in friendly conversations with guests, utilizing the 10/5 Rule: make eye contact and smile from 10 feet away, and greet and speak to guests within 5 feet. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by offering assistance and making guests feel valued.Order and Transaction Accuracy:Accurately input all orders into the POS terminal, process transactions, and ensure proper handling of cash, charges, and complimentary sales. Adhere to financial procedures, ensuring accurate transactions and maintaining integrity in all financial interactions.Stock and Display Maintenance:Ensure that all stock items are maintained at appropriate levels in the designated areas. Assist in managing pastry par levels and keeping display cases organized and stocked to meet operational standards.Cleanliness and Safety Standards:Maintain cleanliness and organization in the designated work area, including surrounding areas and condiment stations. Follow health and safety standards to ensure all areas are clean and compliant with company expectations.Team Support:Collaborate with co-workers and management to ensure smooth operations, including assisting with food delivery to customers. Support team members as needed to maintain an efficient and cohesive service environmentGeneralMust be at least 18 years old to obtain a UMUGC Non-Support License (required). Must be able to pass the UMUGC and CG background investigations (no financial crimes or other felonies).Must pass a drug test.EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.ExperienceAt least six months of experience in a similar position, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.Experience with cash handling and POS terminal operation preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.Basic math skills for handling cash, making change, and processing transactions accurately.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining organized and efficient.Knowledge of health and safety standards, with the ability to maintain cleanliness in the work area. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ute-Mountain-Casino-Hotel
