Aircraft Mechanic II

Aircraft Mechanic IIS&K Aerospace is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II to perform organizational-level scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on P-8A aircraft at NAS Jacksonville, FL. The position performs troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, component replacement, maintenance documentation, and flight-line support.Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenanceTroubleshoot, inspect, repair, remove, and install aircraft systems and componentsInterpret technical publications, schematics, drawings, and maintenance instructionsPerform operational checks and assist with aircraft inspectionsDocument maintenance actions in NALCOMIS/OOMA and required aircraft recordsSupport aircraft launches, recoveries, servicing, towing, jacking, and movementLead maintenance tasks or inspect work when qualified and designatedComply with NAMP, safety, quality, tool-control, and FOD-prevention requirementsMinimum Qualifications: Minimum of three (3) years of aircraft maintenance experience Working knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection procedures Ability to interpret aircraft technical data and use required tools and test equipment Ability to work independently with limited supervision Must be a U.S. citizen Must possess and maintain a current Top Secret security clearance Must be willing to travel when required Must have a valid state driver's license when required by job assignment Must be able to obtain and maintain a flightline driver's license if requiredPreferred Qualifications: P-8, P-3, 737, or comparable military aircraft experience NAMP, NALCOMIS, OOMA experience Plane Captain, CDI, CDQAR, ordnance, or aircraft-turn qualificationsBenefits: 401(K) Health Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Paid Time Off To view more benefit information, please visit our career center at Inc. is an EEO/Veteran/Disabled employer.
